Les Hinckley Racing is excited to announce that it has tabbed a new driver and will return to racing competition on Wednesday, June 25, at Seekonk Speedway with the Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series!
Although team owner, Les, is still recovering from recent back surgery and his activities are limited, the team is excited to announce that Tyler Chapman will be filling the seat of the Les Hinckley Racing 06. Tyler has had exceptional success in his family-owned equipment at Stafford Speedway and other regional tracks, and the team believes he is ready to make the next step in his career to an open modified.
“We feel Tyler will be a good fit within our team and will make a seamless transition to open modified competition,” said Les.
The roots between the Hinckley and Chapman families run deep. Les raced pro stocks with Tyler’s father, Sumner Chapman, back in the late 1990s at “The Park.”
“We all share a common vision for the direction of LHR, with Tyler turning the wheel,” said Sumner.
