In a show of collaboration, the Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series has partnered with the Race of Champions for their “Punch your Ticket to Thompson” program.
Each ROC and MMTTS event, beginning with the Propane Plus Heating & Cooling 75 during the Icebreaker event at Thompson (CT) Speedway Motorsports Park (Sat., Mar. 29), will award the feature race winner a provisional starting position for the 2025 ROC 150 at Thompson’s World Series (Sat., Oct. 11) – provided the driver and team enter the event, practice and make an attempt at qualifying for the prestigious race.
“We’ve had several people reach out to us in regard to bringing back the qualifiers with our move to Thompson,” stated Joe Skotnicki, Race of Champions. “So, we have listened and brought them back including the “Punch your Ticket to Thompson” program. Our working relationship with other Series and tracks like the Monaco Modified Series has been tremendous and we are grateful for their participation in this program.”
“Whenever we can partner with Joe (Skotnicki) and the ROC Series, or Chris Williams and SMART, we’re pursuing it,” said Renee Dupuis, MMTTS Director of Series Development. “Providing guaranteed starting spots is a win for our competitors, a win for the ROC Series, and a win for Thompson. This is a no-brainer.”
