Thunder Road To Return To Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series Schedule For 2024 Season

Race Day CT: The Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series kicked off its 2023 season Sunday at Thunder Road International Speedbowl in Barre, VT. But it’s never too early for any series to get a start on planning the next year’s schedule. And the first piece of the puzzle is in place for the Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series for 2024. Thunder Road co-owner Cris Michaud confirmed Tuesday that the Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series will return to Thunder Road in 2024.

Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series To Begin 10th Season With Granite City 100 At Thunder Road

Race Day CT: After a stellar debut last season, the Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series is returning to Thunder Road International Speedbowl for the 2nd annual Granite City 100 as part of the 60th Mekkelsen RV Memorial Day Classic on Sunday, May 28th. The $10,000-to-win event is once again drawing the top Tour-type Modified talent to Barre, Vermont in spectacular fashion to kick off the popular series’ 10th anniversary season.

Chasing Modified championships all over the map will be the theme for Tommy Baldwin Racing in 2023. Baldwin announced Thursday that Mike Christopher Jr. will compete for him full-time on the Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series in 2023. Team owner Tommy Baldwin Jr. has already announced that he will be fielding Doug Coby on the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour full-time in 2023 along with Caleb Heady full-time on the SMART Modified Tour.

Anthony Nocella Races To First Career Monaco Modified Tri-Track Win at Seekonk Speedway

Souza Media: Saturday’s Seekonk Speedway season-finale hosted three divisions of New England short-track racing, with two champions crowned, and one driver keeping the hometown crowd on the edge of their seats in two different races. In the headliner of the afternoon, Anthony Nocella topped the final race of the Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series season, scoring his first victory of his career with the series. Nocella’s Seekonk triumph was a long time coming – as the driver of the No. 92 had finished at the front of the field at the third-mile multiple times, in multiple different modified divisions.
