The Monaco Modified Tri-Tracks Series (MMTTS) traveled to New London-Waterford Speedbowl (Waterford, CT) on Saturday, August 12 for 100 laps of racing on the 3/8-mile semi-banked oval. Race Day CT: Over the first nine seasons the Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series has run Hirschman had at least one victory every season. But after three of six scheduled events Hirschman was winless in 2023. No fear, the winning streak hit 10 years Saturday for Hirschman in another huge paying event for the Northampton, PA driver. Hirschman got a $10,000 winner’s purse for the event and also won the Dunleavy’s Gambler’s Challenge to add another $8,100 to his payout at the shoreline oval Saturday.
When the Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series rolls into the New London-Waterford Speedbowl on Saturday, August 12, Belltown Motors/Fowler’s Auto Wrecking will return as the event title sponsor. Once again, this race is expected to be a showstopper with: 32 modified teams pre-registered (and still more anticipated) A $10,000 winner’s purse
With the $10,000 winner’s purse up for grabs – plus Doug Dunleavy’s Gamblers Challenge that will add an additional $5,0000 or more in estimated winnings to the MMTTS Belltown Motors/Fowler’s Auto Wrecking 100 – plan on heading to Waterford, CT on Saturday and join the MMTTS teams at The New London-Waterford Speedbowl. General admission gates open at 2 PM – just in time to watch MMTTS practice in action.
Race Day CT: When the Monaco Modified Tri-Track heads to the New London-Waterford Speedbowl Saturday for the Belltown Motors/Fowler’s Auto Wrecking 100, Dunleavy will be adding to the fun and letting every driver in the main event gamble on themselves. Dunleavy will support the Dunleavy’s Gamblers challenge at the event. The program will allow one driver in the main event field to earn a possible $6,000 bonus.
