The Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series hosts the fourth of its six scheduled 2023 events Saturday, August 12 at the New London-Waterford Speedbowl. With the series race season just past the halfway point, drivers are looking forward to a trip to ‘The ‘Bowl ‘to compete in the Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series Belltown Motors/Fowler’s Auto Wrecking 100.

With the $10,000 winner’s purse up for grabs – plus Doug Dunleavy’s Gamblers Challenge that will add an additional $5,0000 or more in estimated winnings to the MMTTS Belltown Motors/Fowler’s Auto Wrecking 100 – plan on heading to Waterford, CT on Saturday and join the MMTTS teams at The New London-Waterford Speedbowl. General admission gates open at 2 PM – just in time to watch MMTTS practice in action.

Going into Saturday’s race, Matt Swanson is the series points leader (with his Seekonk Speedway win breaking a points tie). Woody Pitkat is still looking for his first 2023 MMTS victory while ranked second in points.

With a win in the books at Star Speedway, the Jake Johnson No. MA15 modified team is looking for their second series win of the season. But will the young Johnson hold off a field of anxious drivers looking for a win? Currently third in points, will Matt Hirschman score his first MMTTS win of the season? Or will the hard-charging Thunder Road winner Ronnie Williams get number two? Is it time for Chris Pasteryak to get his first 2023 victory?

Last year’s New London-Waterford Speedbowl MMTTS race winner, Dana DiMatteo is also ready to defend his 2022 win at New London-Waterford Speedbowl.
