STAFFORD SPRINGS, CT — After Mother Nature forced a one-week delay, the Monaco Modified Series is ready to get back to business Friday night, October 2, when the 53rd NAPA Auto Parts Fall Final takes center stage at Stafford Motor Speedway.

Originally scheduled for Saturday, September 26, the iconic Fall Final was postponed due to inclement weather. Now, one of New England short-track racing’s most anticipated events returns under the lights with **80 laps of Modified racing and $10,000 awaiting the winner**.

And despite the change in date, the stakes haven’t changed.

A loaded field of Modified talent is expected for Friday night’s showdown, led by Monaco Modified Series championship contenders Jon McKennedy, Ron Silk and Ronnie Williams.

They’ll be joined by a deep roster that includes Patrick Emerling, Justin Bonsignore, Austin Beers, Teddy Hodgdon, Matt Swanson, Woody Pitkat, Chase Dowling, Michael Christopher Jr., Kyle Bonsignore, Keith Rocco, Andrew Molleur, George Bessette Jr., Tyler Chapman and more.

Championship Battle Heads to Stafford
Beyond the $10,000 winner’s payday and the prestige that comes with winning the NAPA Fall Final, every position will be critical in the battle for the $50,000 Union Insurance Group/USNEPower Points Championship.

McKennedy enters Stafford as the championship leader, with Silk and Williams tied for second — each just nine points behind.

With only two races remaining on the Monaco Modified Series schedule following Friday’s event, the Fall Final could play a pivotal role in determining who ultimately claims the 2026 championship.

The battle for the USNEPower Energizer Zone bonus remains tight as well. McKennedy and Williams have each spent six race weeks inside the championship’s top five, followed by Kyle Bonsignore with five, Silk with four and Michael Christopher Jr. with three. The driver who spends the most race weeks inside the Energizer Zone will earn a **$2,000 year-end bonus**.

Extra Money on the Line
In addition to the $10,000 winner’s purse, Monaco Modified Series partners will once again put additional awards on the line throughout Friday night’s 80-lap feature.

The driver advancing the most positions will earn the $500 Van Horst General Contractors Hard Charger Award, while Constantine Paving & Sealing will award $250 to the driver leading the most laps.

The Fall Final winner will also receive a $500 Creative Racing Products gift card.

At the end of 80 laps, one driver will add his name to the history of one of New England racing’s signature events and celebrate a $10,000 victory in Sign Pro Victory Lane.

Next Generation of Racers Still Part of Fall Final Celebration
The revised Friday night schedule may have changed the format, but the Monaco Modified Series remains committed to recognizing the next generation of racers during the Fall Final.

Invited 2026 Wild Thing Karts feature winners will gather following the Street Stock feature for a special experience with the Monaco Modified Series.

Each young racer will receive a personalized plaque courtesy of Sign Pro along with a Mr. Rooter Kids’ Club bag filled with goodies from Mr. Rooter, Monaco Ford, the Monaco Modified Series, New England Racing Fuel and Trackside Bakery.

Kart drivers will then participate in an exclusive autograph session and pose for pictures with their favorite Monaco Modified drivers before being invited to join the post-race celebration in Sign Pro Victory Lane.

The Monaco Modified Kids’ Club presented by Mr. Rooter will also be part of Friday night’s festivities, with the Kids’ Club scheduled from 5:30 p.m. until the start of the Late Model feature. Young fans can stop by for Friday night’s special giveaway — giant foam No. 1 fingers — while supplies last.

Fall Final Under the Lights
Friday’s rescheduled event brings the NAPA Fall Final together with Stafford’s Championship Night, creating a packed evening of racing at the historic half-mile.

The Monaco Modified Series will be joined by Stafford’s SK Modified®, Late Model, SK Light Modified, Limited Late Model and Street Stock divisions.

Qualifying begins at 6 p.m., with feature racing scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.

Advance tickets are available through Stafford Motor Speedway. Fans unable to attend can watch the action live on FloRacing.

One week later than planned and now under the Friday night lights, the ingredients remain the same: $10,000 to win, 80 laps, a loaded field and a championship battle with virtually no room for error.

The wait is almost over.

It’s finally time for the 53rd NAPA Auto Parts Fall Final.
