MONACO MODIFIED - WILD THING KARTS EVENT
STAFFORD MOTOR SPEEDWAY
WEDNESDAY, JULY 16, 2025

questions?
we have answers!
If you have won a Tiger Cub 1 or 2, Tiger A or B, or Junior or Senior Outlaw feature event during the 2025 Wild Thing Kart season, you are automatically invited to participate.
If, after the Monday, July 14 event, there have not been 30 different winners, we will then select drivers based on points.
The Monaco Modified GAF Roofing Modified Master’s race will be held on Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at Stafford Motor Speedway.
To receive your special awards and participate in pre-race festivities, drivers must meet Monaco Modified officials at the locked gate between the grandstands and the pits (near the tech shack, towards turn 1) BEFORE THE CONCLUSION OF THE SK LIGHT RACE.
*We estimate that this will take place at approximately 8:30 PM.
CLICK HERE for the full event schedule.
If you are a feature winner, a 4-pack of general admission grandstand tickets (2 adults, 2 children) has been reserved under your kart driver’s name.
Tickets can be picked up on race day (Wed., July 16) at the Will Call window at Stafford’s main entrance ticket booth.
YES! Kart drivers are kindly asked to wear firesuits.
PRE-RACE
Kart drivers must meet Monaco Modified Series officials at the locked gate between the grandstands and the pits (near the tech shack, towards turn 1) BEFORE THE CONCLUSION OF THE SK LIGHT RACE.
Series officials will then escort kart drivers (who must already be wearing fire suits) onto the starting grid. Parents/guardians – who will not be allowed on the starting grid – should meet drivers back at this same gate at the conclusion of pre-race festivities.
SIGN PRO VICTORY LANE
At the conclusion of the GAF Roofing Modified Masters 80-lap race (NOT the SK Light race), all kart drivers in attendance are invited to join us in Sign Pro Victory Lane for a special Wild Thing Karts group photo with the race winner. Please use the pass-through stairs at the start/finish line to access Victory Lane.
As part of driver introductions, each kart driver will be announced over the PA, receive a personalized award courtesy of Sign Pro, a hat and patch from New England Racing Fuels, and pose for commemorative photos.
*These special activities will also be aired live on FloRacing.
If you are unable to participate, please let us know ASAP by calling/texting Renee at 860-559-9124 so that we may invite another driver to take your place.

Monaco Modified Series presented by Better Built Basements and Mr. Rooter Celebrate the Next Generation of Racers at Stafford Speedway July 16
The Monaco Modified Series presented by Better Built Basements, in partnership with Mr. Rooter, is proud to honor the next generation of short-track racers by supporting two upcoming Wild Thing Karts events at Stafford Speedway on Monday, June 30, and Monday, July 14.
As part of the program, 30 Wild Thing Karts 2025 feature winners will each receive a four-pack of tickets (two adult, two child grandstand passes) to the Wednesday, July 16, GAF Roofing Monaco Modified Series presented by Better Built Basements event at Stafford Speedway. If fewer than 30 unique feature winners are named by July 14, 2025, remaining ticket packages will be distributed based on points standings.
This initiative is part of the Monaco Modified Series’ ongoing commitment to supporting young drivers. Many of today’s Monaco Modified competitors are graduates of the Wild Thing Karts program.
“It’s important to celebrate where our drivers come from and where the sport is headed,” said Renee Dupuis, Director of Series Development for the Monaco Modified Series presented by Better Built Basements. “We wanted to bring these young racers to one of our marquee events, let them feel the crowd’s energy, give them recognition on a bigger stage, and show them what’s possible beyond karts.”
In addition to complimentary race admission, all Wild Thing Kart drivers will be invited trackside to participate in pre-race and post-race Sign Pro Victory Lane festivities during the July 16 event.
The Monaco Modified Series presented by Better Built Basements and Mr. Rooter extend a heartfelt thank you to Paul and David Arute of Stafford Speedway for their support of this program and their continued dedication to youth racing development.
