The Monoco Modified Tri-Track Series (MMTS) raced into their 2023 season at Thunder Road Speedbowl Memorial Day Weekend. Ronnie Williams held off six-time NASCAR Whelen Modified Champion, Doug Coby to take home a $10,000 paycheck.
With modified competition heating up, MMTS teams will head to Seekonk on Wednesday, June 28th to compete for the $10,000 Open Wheel Wednesday purse. Since 2005, Seekonk has featured an open-wheel program on one Wednesday of the summer.
Will 2022 series champion Matt Hirschman win for the second year in a row? Can Thunder Road race winner Ronnie Williams make it two for two? Will Doug Coby take home the money and lead in series points? Is it time for Woody Pitkat to put the Doug Dunleavy #88 in Victory Lane? Will contenders Anthony Nocella or Chris Pasteryak take the checkers?
Come to Seekonk next Wednesday and cheer for your favorite driver as they drive to nail a MMTTS win at the semi-banked 1/3 mile track.
