The Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series – when it rolls into Thompson on Saturday for its first-ever Icebreaker appearance – will be doing so with a new partnership deal between a unique duo of Woodstock, CT- based, small animal Veterinary Practices.

Peake Brooke Veterinary Center and Dr. Gwenn Mobile Vet are set to sponsor the three, 10-lap Monaco Modified qualifying races.

All new in 2021, Peake Brook Veterinary Center is a state-of-the-art, full-service small animal clinic conveniently located across from the Woodstock Fair Grounds on Route 171 in Woodstock, CT.

Dr. Gwenn Mobile Vet offers full-service small animal mobile veterinary care at your doorstep. Dr. Gwenn Mobile Vet services clients located in Northeastern Connecticut towns of Woodstock, Eastford, Chaplin, Pomfret, Putnam, and Thompson.

For those needing an introduction, Dr. Gwenn is none other than Gwenn Gaumond – a former winning racer at Thompson and Stafford Speedways. Since retiring as a driver, Gwenn has remained active in motorsports, becoming a sought-after crew member and tire specialist. In fact, both Gwenn and her uber-talented husband, Sean Fitzmaurice, will be working as Modified crew members during Icebreaker weekend.

“Not only is Dr. Gwenn our beloved Veterinarian, but many folks in the racing community depend upon her for veterinary care and advice,” explained Renee Dupuis, MMTTS Owner and Director of Series Development. “Thompson is THE perfect venue to bring attention to her companion veterinary practices – Peake Brook Veterinary Center and Dr. Gwenn Mobile Vet.”

Both practices are currently accepting new clients.
