SEEKONK, Mass. – October 20, 2025 – The Monaco Modified Series, in conjunction with New England’s newest Halloween spooky attraction – Hallowizz – and J&R Precast, and Glenn Korner, has announced a new $7,000 Halloween-themed bonus for drivers daring enough to take the HalloWizz Start-in-the-Back Challenge Honoring Bob Horn, debuting at the USNEPower Haunted Hundred XL.
Sponsored by HalloWizz, the thrilling Halloween attraction at Water Wizz in East Wareham, Massachusetts, the challenge invites the top five racers based on results from the heat races for the USNEPower Haunted Hundred XL Monaco Modified Series race to take a scary gamble — give up their prime starting positions and charge from the back of the field to the front.
Any of the five drivers who accept the challenge will receive a $500 bonus just for taking the risk. The remaining bonus money will be split among any of those drivers who battle their way back into the top five by race’s end. If none make it back, the remaining funds will be equally spread among those finishing in the top 10.
“It takes real courage to give up the front row and try to claw your way back. That’s what Bob Horn loved about racing — heart, hustle, and putting on a show for the fans”, shared Wayne Darling, Monaco Modified Series Principal.
The challenge celebrates the memory of Bob Horn, a racer, team owner, and longtime supporter of the Monaco Modified Series. Bob is remembered for his grit, passion, and dedication to old-school, hard-nosed competition, making the challenge one Bob would have appreciated.
HalloWizz — one of the sponsors behind the challenge — transforms Water Wizz into a Halloween destination for kids of all ages and their families. Open weekends through late October, the event features their Family Fall Festival (4:00–6:30 p.m.) where families can enjoy safe and seasonal activities including the Spooky Trick-or-Treat Trail Maze with candy stations, Freddy’s Pumpkin Patch, and silly-but-spooky carnival games. Then at 6:30pm, HalloWizz rolls out the Haunted Attractions, suggested for ages 12 and up (6:30 p.m. – 11pm), when the park transforms into a darker, more thrilling Halloween adventure featuring Hellgate House, Pigman’s Corn Maze, chilling concession specials, and more.
