The Monaco Modified Series returns to action on Wednesday, June 24, as the Northeast’s premier Modified racers invade Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park for a 75-lap, $10,000-to-win feature.

Grandstands open at 3:30 PM, with racing set to begin at 6:00 PM, giving fans an action-packed evening headlined by the Monaco Modifieds, joined by a full card of Thompson Speedway’s local divisions, including Sunoco Modifieds, SK Lights, Pro Trucks, Late Models, Street Stocks, and Crown Vics.

“In looking at this entry list, you just don’t see any field fillers. These are all drivers who have won races and championships across the spectrum of modified racing. Quite literally any single one of these teams could end up in Sign Pro Victory Lane at the end of the night,” commented Renee Dupuis, Director of Monaco Modified Series Development. “We’re bringing a quality field – to a historic modified venue – on what’s forecasted to be an outstanding weather day. With Waterford being postponed, it’s been a tight turnaround for our teams, but we’re looking forward to getting back at it on Wednesday,” she continued.

Fans attending Wednesday’s event are encouraged to bring the entire family. The Monaco Modified Kids’ Club presented by Mr. Rooter will be open from 6 – 8 PM under the big, red Mr. Rooter tent on the midway, featuring giveaways and free activities for young race fans. Membership is FREE, and children can enjoy games, activities, and receive exclusive Kids’ Club giveaways at each event on the Monaco Modified 2026 schedule. Parents can sign their children up by visiting the Monaco Modified website today!

With the championship battle beginning to take shape after two events, drivers will be chasing not only the winner’s purse, Sign Pro’s signature Victory Lane hardware, but also their share of the $50,000 Monaco Modified Series Point Fund, presented by USNEPower and Union Insurance Group.

In addition to the overall championship, competitors are also battling for the USNEPower Energizer Zone, a season-long bonus program that will award $2,000 to the driver who spends the most weeks inside the championship top five while ultimately earning the highest finishing position among those contenders. Entering Thompson, Jon McKennedy, Kyle Bonsignore, and Ronnie Williams lead the way, each notching two races in the USNEPower Energizer Zone.

To follow along, fans are encouraged to visit Race Central on the Monaco Modified Series website and follow on social media throughout the evening for updates, photos, and real-time race results.
