The Monaco Modified Series is proud to announce the return of its popular “Next Generation of Racers” program in partnership with Vinny Beedle’s Mr. Rooter of South-Central Connecticut, Sign Pro, and Stafford Motor Speedway, celebrating the talented young drivers of the Wild Thing Karts Series.
While the program was held during the Monaco Modified’s July event last season, organizers are excited to announce that this year’s celebration will take place during Stafford Motor Speedway’s prestigious 53rd NAPA Fall Final on Saturday, September 26, giving young racers the opportunity to be recognized during one of the track’s biggest weekends of the season.
As part of the program, Wild Thing Karts 2026 feature winners (Cub, Tiger B/A, Junior Outlaw only) will receive a special invitation to attend. Each winner will receive four complimentary general admission tickets (two adult and two child tickets) and be invited on the starting grid during pre-race to be paired with a Monaco Modified competitor. As part of driver introductions, each kart driver will be announced over the PA, receive a customized plaque courtesy of Sign Pro, and get a drawstring bag packed with Monaco Modified-branded goodies. *These special activities will also be aired live as part of Stafford’s FloRacing broadcast.
Many of today’s Monaco Modified Series competitors got their start in the Wild Thing Karts program at Stafford. Over the years, the series has served as the launching pad for many of the Northeast’s top racing talents, making it a perfect fit with the Monaco Modified Series’ commitment to recognizing grassroots racing and encouraging the next generation of Modified stars.
